What is Construction Technology?
Construction Technology is a program that prepares an individual for employment or continued education in the occupation of Carpentry, Electrical Wiring, Masonry, or Plumbing.
First year students are taught the fundamentals of construction safety, tools, math, and blueprint reading and basic carpentry, electrical, masonry, and plumbing skills. A student must show competence in basic math skills and job safety. Upon the completion of this course, students will have the knowledge to complete the Contren Core Certification.
Second year course consists of an in-depth study of foundations; wall and ceiling framing; room framing; windows and doors; and stair layout. Upon the completion of this course, students will have the knowledge to complete the Contren Level I Certification.

During the first year, students will complete the NCCER Learning Series Program. The students' Industry Credentials are recognized and listed in the National Registry for Construction and will enhance their career opportunities.
